History
Feelings and Beyond was created to offer a space where children, adolescents, and families can find professional psychological support, understanding, and practical tools to strengthen their mental and emotional well-being.
Founded by Colombian psychologist based in Miami, Erika Angulo, a licensed mental health professional in the United States, the center has grown to become a reference in Play Therapy and child mental health in Doral, Miami. Erika is also a frequent expert voice on major Latino television and radio networks in the United States, such as Univision and Telemundo, where she regularly addresses topics related to child psychology, parenting, and emotional well-being.
Since its beginnings, Feelings and Beyond has been characterized by combining psychological science with human warmth, creating therapeutic spaces where emotions are understood, bonds are strengthened, and transformation is possible.
Our team of therapists shares a common mission: to help each person develop internal resources to feel safer, more connected, and experience greater overall well-being.
Mission
At Feelings and Beyond, we support children, adolescents, adults, and families in their emotional and psychological growth process. Our purpose is to offer a space where each person feels seen, heard, and treated with compassion and respect, understanding that true transformation happens when someone feels safe enough to heal.
We believe that by providing a safe and humane environment, healing and growth processes become possible. Through Play Therapy, clinical psychology, and conscious parenting, we promote more accessible and empathetic mental health care for everyone.
Each session is an opportunity to rebuild connections, strengthen self-esteem, and foster emotional well-being, remembering that this change happens one child, one family, and one story at a time.
Vision
To be a leading mental health and psychological therapy center in Miami and within the Hispanic community in the United States, recognized for offering a safe, warm, and professional space where children, families, and adults can heal, grow, and reconnect.
We stand out for our specialization in Child Play Therapy and attachment theory, with a strong commitment to strengthening family bonds and providing tools for the emotional well-being of the Hispanic community, raising our voice for better mental health for all—one child, one adolescent, one adult, and one family at a time.

Emotional safety
Emotional safety is the foundation of healing. We create spaces where people can feel protected, accepted, and free to explore their inner world.
