Parenting and supporting a child’s emotional growth is not always easy. There are moments when both children and parents may need additional guidance to better understand and manage what they are experiencing. At times, these challenges can show up as changes in behavior, intense or explosive emotions, frequent frustration, or difficulties with communication. Therapy becomes a safe and supportive space to make sense of what is happening and to learn healthier ways to navigate it.
I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, helping families recognize what is already working while building practical skills for emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving. I incorporate creative, developmentally appropriate interventions—especially with children—so they can express themselves in ways that feel natural, safe, and supportive of their growth.
My goal is for each client and family to feel supported, strengthened, and confident in their ability to face challenges, while fostering emotional growth and healthier relationships at home, at school, and within themselves.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in both clinical and school-based settings, including providing counseling services through Miami-Dade Public Schools. I support clients facing emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges, and I am passionate about creating a safe and nurturing space where they feel seen, heard, and understood.
I have experience working with multicultural and Spanish-speaking families, which allows me to provide culturally responsive and inclusive care tailored to each client’s unique background and needs.
My approach focuses on fostering emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence while supporting each individual’s developmental growth. I provide therapy through a combination of talking therapy, art therapy, and play therapy, using developmentally appropriate interventions to help clients process emotions, build healthy coping skills, and strengthen self-expression.

I love anything that keeps me motivated, especially good music and uplifting phrases that help reframe tough moments. I enjoy spending time with my family, laughing, and staying connected.
Fun fact: I don’t know how to cook at all, but I do know how to focus on what matters, keep things positive, and find solutions (which I promise works better in therapy than in the kitchen).
I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, school-related stress, social difficulties, and challenges related to life transitions. I support clients in developing healthier coping strategies, strengthening emotional regulation skills, and building confidence in their ability to navigate daily challenges.
I also work closely with families addressing parenting concerns and childhood emotional and behavioral development, with a focus on fostering stability, resilience, and stronger parent-child relationships. My goal is to create a supportive environment where children and teens feel empowered, understood, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive both at home and at school.
